Like most kids, Asher was absolutely elated about moving from his crib to his brand new big boy bed. I have always loved this picture because it completely captures his sense of excitement and pride in that moment!

Before having kids, when I used to teach middle school, I'd look at my 13 and 14 year old students and see 13 and 14 year olds. After having kids, I realized that when parents look at these big kids, they see a whole lifetime and their little baby faces under all that age.
