It’s been a year now since Ivy’s mama Beth contacted me about purchasing a First Year package in anticipation of the baby girl’s birth… here we are doing her eight month shoot already! There’s nothing like a baby to remind you that time flies! For this shoot, Beth requested that we take naked baby photos of Ivy wearing her special baby ring…. Beth has a similar photo of her eighty year-old father wearing his baby ring and did the same thing with Ivy’s older sister when she was a wee one. Here are some of my favorite shots from our most recent visit together!
Prior to setting up the backdrop for Ivy’s solo photos, we spent some time just hanging out in the family’s home. I love documenting the ordinary scenes that happen as part of every day life without much thought given to them…
Pets rarely go undocumented when I do a home based shoot… this is Einstein, one of the family cats : )
