Whenever I do a family shoot at a park with a playground, I do my best to keep the kids in the dark about its presence until about halfway through the shoot. Otherwise I tend to find myself locked in a “conflict of interests” situation and we all know who tends to win those : ) Little Kaitlyn’s parents, Raegan and Dave and I managed quite well at keeping Kaitlyn and the playground from crossing paths for the better part of our shoot… but once she discovered it, there was no turning back! Good thing too, because I had a ball trying to capture her two-year-old energy as she raced to explore all the fun things she’d discovered!
Time to go!
And this is pretty much why I don’t like to get myself locked in conflicts of interest with two year olds : )
