Sending Love Little Jak’s Way

I’m sad to report that my little friend Jak, has fallen ill with a urinary tract infection and unfortunately had to celebrate turning two weeks old in the hospital being poked and prodded more times than anyone should have to endure, let alone a wee newborn baby. Urinary tract infections are potentially very dangerous to newborns as they’ve not yet developed the ability to localize infections, which means the bacteria causing the infection can travel to blood and spinal fluid very quickly, resulting in a very sick baby. I’ve been preoccupied all day with sending positive healing energy Jak’s way, and would like to ask anyone reading this to do the same. I know seeing these pictures from his birthing day makes his mom & dad smile, so I thought I’d share a few more of them here in hopes of helping them through these emotionally exhausting days : )
