Time for a tea party!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of joining the third birthday celebration of my little friend Lauren. I have worked with Lauren and her family a couple times in the past year so of course it was a joy to see how she has grown and changed since I saw her last! Her mommy did a great job creating a fun little tea party, complete with dress up clothes for Lauren and her friends. Here are a few shots from the day...

New blog welcome and ... it's wedding season!!

Thanks for stopping by my new blog! I think this is going to be a cool way to share my adventures in photography (not to mention self employment!) with clients, colleagues and friends alike. Please feel free to comment & critique the images I share, I'm always interested in how others view my work!

My first blog entry ever is inspired by and dedicated to Alicia & Paul, the couple whose wedding I shot yesterday. I met Alicia's dad Don last winter when I "moonlighted" as his UPS driver helper during peak season. I clearly remember the day he told me his daughter had just gotten engaged so it was really cool to be there several months later to shoot the big day! It was truly FUN to be part of this celebration- so many people worked really, really hard to make this day happen for Alicia and Paul that it was great to see them relax and enjoy the fruits of their effort.

Alicia and Paul were so fun and easy to work with- they have great chemistry between them and neither is afraid to loosen up and have some fun with the camera, which always makes my job easier! I love it when people really relax with me because that's when the most magical pictures occur- here are a few of my favorites from the day...
